“Ey Irân” (Persian: ای ایران) is an Iranian patriotic song that serves as the country’s unofficial national anthem. The music was composed by Ruhollâh Xâleqi, and the lyrics were written by Hossein Gol-e-Golâb in 1944. This anthem was first performed by Qolâm-Hossein Banân.

Today, the anthem is mostly used by the Iranian opposition, as the Islamic Republic of Iran has its own national anthem.

Aujourd’hui, l’hymne est principalement utilisé par l’opposition iranienne puisque la République islamique d’Iran a son propre hymne national.
